Sound card advice
I am interested in replacing my laptop. I like to record streaming music but have noticed that sound cards built in the MB on newer laptops do not seem to offer "Line In', "What You Hear" or "Stereo Mix as choices for recording . Although I have a newer Asus desktop that does. They offer only "Microphone". Can some one recommend laptops that still offer this?

I think you need to go for the more expensive laptop ranges, like the Sony Vaio or the AlienWare range from Dell.
