Solved: Best free media player I'm looking to replace Windows Media Player, and I want to find something that's versatile, functional, and most importantly stable.
I've tried RadLight, which was okay, but had lousy video capabilities.
Then I found VLC Media Player. Anyone interested in open-source software should check that out. It's an awesome idea, and it can handle just about any video format you throw at it, but I kept crashing it trying to open files.
Yeesh.
I'll probably check later releases of VLC [did I mention it was available on ALL platforms?] but for now, I'll keep looking.
Suggestions, anyone?
Thanks! |
