CD/DVD players won't work
I insert CD or DVD's in their respective drives and no auto detection and play. Checked Device Manger and both say devices are working properly. CD is in Location 0 and DVD is in Location 1. Manufacturer is listed as "Standard CD ROM Drives". Is this a software problem or hardware problem. Windows XP, Media Player 11. Insignia D-400 Computer. No new drivers available, and no rollback drivers available. Any Ideas? Thanks, jberd99usa.

Configuration Problem
To whom ever views this post...I putzed around and got CD player to work. I have to insert a CD into Drive D..go to "My Computer" right click the D drive icon and click play. Winamp then starts and Audio CD plays. Can I configure for autoplay when I insert Audio CD into Drive D? Drive E is another problem. This my DVD Player. If I insert disc I get no playback. If I go to "My Computer" and follow above steps I get a menu with "Open, Explore, Search.....Properties" listed. If I click on Open I get "please insert disc into Drive E" which I do but no playback. I believe this is a config problem. Can anyone assist? Thanks, jberd99usa.

Right-click the drive in My Computer/Properties and look under the Autoplay Tab for options.
For Vista look in Control Panel.
