Question Problem with iTunes, and Trojans,
I'm having a problem with my iTunes as to where I'll plug in my Ipod and a wonderful Error message will pop up stating that my Ipod Service Module has encountered a problem and needs to close. -.-
So I of course went to see how many other people this was happening to. I did everything short of reformatting my computer and reinstalling Windows XP Home (which is what I'm currently running) mainly becuase (1) I dont have the know-how and (2) I don't have a CD to reinstall it.
My computer is a Dell Latitude C610 refurb (Christmas gift).
Anyway, so I installer a lower version that the message won't come up, however it wont recognise my Ipod, althought the computer does.
I have 2 Ipods, a 2nd gen Ipod Nano and a 3rd gen Ipod Nano.
I had stupidly reformatted my 2nd gen (my hot pink ipod.) >.< ugh.
The problem still lies no matter how many times I try to uninstall and reinstall it, it wont recognise my ipods. My brother has a 3rd gen and isnt having the same problem (i think)

So I tried uninstalling and reinstalling itunes, however there is a part I cant uninstall.... It's the Apple Software Update everytime I try to uninstall it a long error message comes up saying that "there is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program run as a part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor." >.<

So I decide to run Spybot Search and Destroy and then there's a problem with I guess Trojans on my computer as well... this message comes up..
'c:\program files\Spybot-Search_Destroy\Includes\Trojans.sbi
See 'Include errors.log'

So yeah. Needless to say I dont know what to do.
Help? I guess I'm just computer retarded.

Idk if this will help but..

Dell Latitude C610
Windows XP Home SP3
BitDefender Antivirus
