How do I burn a program to a disc?
I downloaded a program called Hirens. Just a tool for diagnosing and fixing problems. I downloaded it to a USB drive and this is what I want to do. I want to burn the program to a disc so the program will execute when the disc is inserted into the drive. Can someone walk me through how to do this? I have burning software and I managed to burn the Hirens file to a disc, but when I insert the disc, it just displays the file...I want it to actually run the program when the disc is inserted. Thanks.

Agreed. But to be nice, just about every burning software out there has the ability to burn an ISO image to a CD.

if it's an .iso image, you can use a free program call DVD Decrypter (google it) to easily burn the bootable program to a disk, CD or DVD.
if you need help with DVD Decrypter, i'm sure you can find a tutorial on youtube.

if the file is .exe, and executable file, you should just be able to click the file and open it right from the icon on your computer. burning a .exe file to disk will do nothing. .exe's do not boot automatically, from what i know.

hope i helped =]

Burning an iso is not illegal however the app you listed [hirens] is a CD of apps that are NOT free to download.
