Windows Media Player Problem
Hello, I am using Windows XP home edition on my HP computer, about 2 years old. The past few days, when I have been clicking on .mp3 files which would normally open Windows Media Player, the audio begins playing, but Windows Media Player itself does not open. To open it, I need to go to the Start Menu.

If you need more information, please tell me.

Thank you very much.

Sounds to me like your Mp3 files are not set to open with Media Player.
Find an Mp3 in your MY Music Folder, Right Click on it & select Open With Windows Media Player or Select A Program, if you choose Select A Program you will see a little box at the bottom which you can tick to Always Use This Program.
