My dvd player is a TSSTcorp CD/DVDW SH-S182M. It will always play the first DVD but not the second DVD of a two dvd movie--shows FBI screen and dies....sometimes. The same movies with two DVDs will play on my laptop, OS--XP home.
Can play consecutive DVDs as long as the DVD is not the second DVD of a movie. Tried various players: PowerDVD, Nero, WMA, and some supplied on the DVDs, and still the second DVD won't play. Uninstalled and reinstalled DVD drivers. Tried some old registry backups from last year--it did work back in February.
Btw, all these movies are bought and paid for and been viewed using desktop at least once.
