Super! help
I am trying to get a movie I just ripped to play on my Zune. I have one big VOB file (about 6.33GB), which I ripped in the IFO mode of DVD decrypter. I then tried to convert it to Zune - WMV using SUPER July 8th, 2008 build. I set the video frame rate for 25 fps, 4:3 aspect ratio, and 672 kbps bit rate; 64 kbps audio, 2 channel. direct show decode unchecked, Hi-Quality and 48k audio checked.

I let the program run for about 3 hours, and it said 'Parsing Input File' with one of the green progress bars filled up. At about that time, it stopped and said I had an error. I did not click the Error button because I had already read the generic error message (which is rather annoying).

My real reason for posting this is narrowing down what the problem really is. I suspect it is the CPU, and the core clock speed doesn't measure up to the spec. I have an Intel T2050 at 1600 GHz with 1 GB of shared memory. I know the spec for SUPER is 1800, but I have been able to encode smaller files before hand.

In conclusion to this novel , I would like to confirm that the reason I cannot encode huge files is because of my relatively slow processor, and any tips on other software to use instead for encoding large video files for the Zune.
