CD/DVD Burning-----Quality loss
Hi guys....These are prolly a few basic questions but its the simplest that many need help on.Anyways here r a couple of things i need to kno

1. Does copying a video file to a CD/DVD result in quality loss ( in relation to the original.)

2. Is copying a video file from cd/dvd to HD using the regular "right-click" copying the same as using a " so-called Copying software " in terms of quality...Not ripping

3.Whats the diff btwn burning an AVI/MPEG or any video file file to CD and DVD....

Thanx.....May be ill be comin up wit more like this...Pls bear with me

I think you're asking about the difference between copying and rendering in all three.
Copying, whether its from or to (burning if CD or DVD) is "as is," no changes are made to the files so the quality remains the same. Everything remains the same except there's a new copy of the file(s) in a new location when finished.

Its when one starts to modify and render the video file(s), from an AVI to a DVD video player compatible format for instance, that quality settings are a factor.
