Exclamation Loud and quiet sound at the same time
I recently got a computer not particularly new but i've been having problems with the sound, There was a really bad echo on the sound and i managed to get rid of it but now there seems to be a problem with the background sound, it is really low but the foreground sound is normal, i've been messing with the EQ and stuff but doesn't really do anything just wondered if there was anything else i could try if you guys have any suggestions

First of all, and this has nothing to do with the sound, you need to uninstall Avg or Norton, I could care less which because they are both not much good, but running 2 antivirus programs is a positive "no no"!
Everything you list you have running in the background is unnecessary and should be unchecked except for the one antivirus you keep (ccapp is Norton), and Netgear 111v .

I think you need to go to Packard bell site and find "downloads" or "support, downloads" and download the audio card driver for your model pc...if you had given us the model #, we could have found that for you.
