Sound is not working on Gateway M-1617
I've seen a couple of posts about issues with the sound card on the Gateway M-1617 Notebook. Mine is Vista (I guess some are XP) but the sound is just not working. Control Panel insists that everything is enabled and working fine. I tried using both speakers and headphones, and I'm not getting anything. Does anyone have any drivers that will work with my computer?


It's a HDMI audio system.

Please send me links to drivers that won't screw up my notebook, preferably not system files. I really like this computer. Just help me out.
