Unhappy Can't find temporary wma. files
I record long sessions of speech using Sound Recorder.
A couple of times, my laptop has switched itself off in the middle of a long recording, therefore I haven't been able to save and name the recording.
I can't find the recording in any recovery or temp folders. Are these files just lost or is there anything I can do??
Thanks Henrie

If you haven't saved the recording before your computer crashed, I'm afraid it's lost. But, perhaps there's a chance to recover the temp file using a program like Recover Files 2. Try it.

Good luck!

When a program has a file opened and power is lost, so is the file.

Something you could do is get an audio editor/recorder like Audacity, record smaller sessions saving as you go and then edit them back together.
