Flash Player Sound Not Working in Any Browser
Hello,

I can view Flash videos but there is no sound.

I have tried in both Firefox and IE.

I can run other videos from websites in either browser and get audio. This includes netflix (silverlight) and abc (move). I get sound from CD's and DVD's as well.

I have Window Vista Home Premium SP 1. It is a 64 bit system but I have tried in the 32 bit IE and it still doesn't work.

I have received from time to time a vidcap.ax file is bad, but that is it.

I can run flash videos on a different computer on the same network and they work just fine.

I have done the obvious things like check versions, drivers, sound card, etc and made sure that "mute" isn't and issue.

I"m not sure what to do. I wouldn't be as confused if all of the sound on all players wasn't working.

I've tried the adobe "troubleshoot adobe flash player" site and anything else I could find.

Thanks!

Did it work before? If it did, try a System Restore.
