I've been having problems with a very simple flash mp3 player

the player works fine but i cant seem to get the controls to affect the timeline as well.

that is, the song is in Hebrew, so i simply wrote a translation and put it in a layer above the player.

however, because the controls only affect the player,
when the music jumps or stops, the translations keep rite on going.

this was originally done in flash cs4
