Solved: Can I make a screen saver for TV?
I'm sure there is a way to make a DVD of favorite photos to play as a "screen saver" on my television ... but even though I searched through the forums here and even googled the question, I can't figure out the answer. The google search was just too overwhelming.

If someone can explain the process, or direct me to a website with SIMPLE instructions, I'd really appreciate it.

Internet searches return exactly what you request. In this case, your intentions don't match the request. What you're looking for is a slideshow, not a screen saver. Windows Movie Maker can create slideshows. The rest is up to the DVD player to play the slideshow and, if possible, be configured to replay it continuously.

a player, yes ... but come to think of it, I'm not sure the computer has a DVD-RW drive. I'll have to look into that!

Aha! So that's what they're called. Of course! That does help ... and in the meantime, I found that Shutterfly can put together a screensa ... oops, I mean slide show DVD! That should make it a lot easier, especially if it turns out that the laptop's DVD drive is not writable!

Thanks so much for the responses!
