No Audio on created DVD
I am capturing video from my Canon FS10 camcorder. Using software that came with camera--Image Mixer 3 SE, I put together a movie. Movie clip is good-- it plays in Windows Media Player just fine. Then I add the file in Roxio MYDVD to create a DVD to burn. -- Before I burn, I ran the Preview--- have picture but no sound. So I assume that if I burn the DVD, it will not have audio. What happens to the sound? File is saved on my computer as a MPG file. File sound shows as Dolby Digital in Image Mixer. What am I missing? Is there an easier way, software / programs that I can use to simply take a movie from my flash drive camcorder and burn it to a DVD to play on any DVD player???

Try DVD Flick. Almost anything should work better than Roxio.

something similar happened to me with i'm not sure what program but think it was ulead. the preview mode could not play the sound, but the sound was there. it was only the preview mode's fault. burn the dvd and if it will not play in your DVD player you still can play the movie with vlc or gom instead of wmp. i think it is worth trying instead of buying a new burning program. it's only a dvd.

I am having a similar problem. My WMP plays the video, but has no audio. This happens when playing store bought DVDs, not burned ones. I have gone through all of the audio settings. Nothing is muted. This drive will play CDs fine. All other audio works as well. The only thing missing is the sound on store bought DVDs.
