Unhappy Sound device not found
Hi. I have a problem i am trying to solve for some time now.
I have an onboard sound card "Cmedia 9761A 5.1 channel audio CODEC"
and the motherboard is an asrock 775i65g.
Windows says there is no audio device installed, but with "Unknown Device" software i can see it there.
1)Tried uninstalling and installing drivers.
When i try cmedia drivers it says that i don't use and cmedia sound card.
If i install realteck ac'97 it installs but still nothing.
2)Onboard sound card is activated in bios
3)Windows Audio service is enabled.

Well i bought the components separately and then put them together.
Motherboard: AsRock
Processor: Intel Celeron
Graphic Card : Nvidia geforce 4 Ti Ultra

If i the info you are needing is not there please tell me if there is a way to get it.
