Solved: 5.1 Rear Speakers Giving Bad Quality Sound
Hi

I recently bought an Altec Lansing FX5051 5.1 Surround Sound Speaker set and have discovered that, when listening to Itunes, the sound coming from the rear speakers is really bad quality (like 16kbps). It sounds alright when im sitting im my chair and the front speakers drown it out and I still get the effect of surround sound, but its still really annoying! How do I fix it?

This is only when im using Itunes. On Win Media Player, RealPlayer, VLC etc its all good and the quality is great. So im guessing I have to do something in the quicktime Control panel but i jsut cant figure out what.

I have a Dell XPS 420, Service Tag: 4WS2S3J

Thanks In advance

I changed the sample rate from 44.1kHz to 192kHz and that seems to have done it, anyone else verify thats a good idea?
