Exclamation Windows Media Player problem HELP HELP
WMP keeps opening with everything i try open all my files eg it trys to open my games and trys to open Google crome and many other things.....thanks

Do all these files have a WMP icon?
Just change the file associations.

To change which program starts when you double-click a file:

well thanks i tried to change that but it wont work because it says the normal file associates that used to open the files.So that wont work nor will any other recommendation ive received....I think ill ring microsoft or acer...

This is actually very simple.
Just rt-click a file, select "Open With", follow the dialog boxes to change the association.

Yeah ive tried that but open with isnt on the right click menu anymore i dont know why it isnt....

Try Control Panel/Default Programs.

Ye ive tried that aswell but according to that wmp's default programs it is only what it should be and mentions no programs that are being used that souldnt be used....sorry for bad wording

You may have some other problem, like a virus or Spyware, but this is really a very simple exercise.
