Winfast DTV Dongle Gold Issues
Hey there, am having issues with the above mentioned device Its quite intriguing when I first purchased this device it worked flawlessly off the bat on Vista Ultimate 64 I have another dual boot partition with Windows XP Pro 32 bit on the same machine and have found that by following the same methods I used in Windows Vista I cannot get the device to find any channels whatsoever I am using a tried tested and proven antenna but under xp it just wont work.

I have since removed Vista so I can try the latest Windows 7 and am having the same Issues this could be to the fact that Windows 7 is still in beta but its quite intriguing as to why this device will not work correctly under Windows XP Pro 32 bit any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in Advance.

Hi. I'm experiencing exactly the same problem with the Winfast DTV Gold Dongle on an XP desktop (with SP3). I'm trying to set up the desktop as a HTPC.

The computer can detect the device is there, but when I scan for chanels, it finds nothing.

The dongle works fine on a laptop running Vista. So, it must be something to do with the setup of my XP desktop.

I've tried uninstalling the drivers (and Winfast PVR software), downloading them from the Leadtek website and reinstalling. But, it still doesn't work.

BoUnCyOnE did you have any luck finding a solution? Thanks.
