Question No sound from speakers!!
Hey everyone.
I've been going crazy trying to get sound on my speakers but had no luck. I tried everything in the troubleshooter and even updated my driver. Heres all the info I do know about this computer (which isnt mine its my mothers, but I probably use it more than her):

System:
Microsoft Windows XP version 2002 Service pack 2
Computer:
Intel(R) Pentuim(R) 4 CPU 2.40GHz 2.39 GHz, 768 MB

I'm not sure what type of motherboard but the soundcard:
Intel(r) 82801BA/BAM AC'97

The computer is a Toshiba Satellite Laptop not sure of much else.

All the drivers are up to date and says they are working properly but I still get no sound. Nothings on mute all the sound is turned up. Hope you can help! thanks

*** Just wanted to add that I just tried plugging speakers from my desktop into the headphone jack and there isnt any sound****
