Question S-Video Problems - TV wont locate laptop and vice versa
Hi.

I bought a S-Video - Scart cable a few days ago and it has just arrived today. problem is that neither the laptop or the TV will recognize each other.

I have gone into the Graphics Card Programme and it says "Could not locate external Monitor" and the TV says "No Signal" While on EXT 1 (Scart Channel)

I have an Acer Aspire 5315 and an Acoustic Solutions LCD TV (Not sure what model it isnt written anywhere on the TV) The cable I am using is an 1.5 M S-Video - Scart cable bought from Amazon LINK HERE.

The Laptop's Svideo definatly works as I use an Svideo - Svideo cable on our big TV in the lounge.

I Have also tried turning everything off then connecting it and turning everything back on and same thing happens
