Hi , my sound has suddenly disappeared. I have a cheap sound card so I thought it had broken down.
Went out and bought another cheapo sound card, installed it and drivers, still no sound. No yellow question marks except on ethernet and VGA. Checked that a mute hadn't been accidentally set.

Did system restore to a time when sound was working, still nothing.
Returned cheapo sound car and bought more expensive one which has ability for 4 speakers. Still no sound.

Please help as I will miss the end of my serial on BBC Radio 7

why have you got ? against VGA & Ethernet - you need to install all the drivers , and motherboard chipset

can you supply make and models of PC motherboard
