Flat sound from YouTube Audio
I tried to find some sort of software or process in Firefox to record audio from a YouTube video but both I tried, Vixy.net and video2mp3 did not work. Then it hit me, I use FairStars Recorder to record a lot of things. It records whatever is coming out of the sound card.

Now in the case of the YouTube video I'm not sure it worked like I wanted. When I played the YouTube music video, the sound was decent, then I played it back and recorded it in FairStars. When I played it back, it sounded ok, but, in my opinion, not as full as when listening to it on YouTube.

However, I looked into more options on FairStars and there is a way to change the VBR on it before you record. The default is 128 Kbps, but I have the option to jack it up all the way to 320Kbps if I want. Want I want to know is, will that make a difference in the sound? I also have the option to run the newly created MP2 through Audacity but I don't want to get in too deep with tweaking the thing.

We cannot assist with this as it's against YouTube's TOS.
