Solved: Yellowish video in Media Player
I have a brand new Dell PC running Windows XP..

When playing a video sent from an email, the playback is yellowish and looks like a negative.. File format is wmv..

I tried playing a dvd movie and it installed the codec and ran just fine..

Any suggestions on how to fix this??

Thanks in advance..

How do you know its not just how that wmv video is? In other words do all wmv videos play back the same or just that one and what does that video and other wmv videos look like when played back in other media players?

The only thing I can think of if you are using Windows Media Player is check the video setting enhancement section and see if they are set to anything other than default. If the video settings are askew there that would effect wmv files but maybe/probably not DVD files.
