I am running 32bit Vista and everytime I try to open a video file the video player itself freezes. I am trying to use winamp, wmp, and quicktime but they all seem to freeze when I open a video file. It was not doing this a week ago but nothing on my computer has changed. Any help is greatly appreciated. I've run virus scan and spam/malware scan to no avail.
try VLC media player its an excellent software player www.videolan.org free software..try it and if the files play ok then its the video player you use which is at fault..
