can't burn CD/DVD
I am no longer able to burn CD or DVD. Operating system is Windows-XP. Seems like the problem began after downloading Internet Explorer 8 upgrade. Previously we were using IE-6 I believe, but not 100% sure. This is the only thing I can link the problem to. I can't copy a disc (CD or DVD) or burn a disc from i-tunes or Windows Media Player. I use Sonic to make copies. I have a Dell computer with built-in driver for copying. Any suggestions?

if your pc is several years of age then going to latest software is not always an advantage.Go back to I.E.6 if thats the only change you made to the system

You know, I really like IE8, but it killed my Outlook 2000. I upgraded to IE7 instead.

If removing IE8 fixes you up, then try IE7 instead.

IE6 is too old, a decade old to be precise. Please quit using it. It's unsafe and it makes web design harder than it should be.
