PC will not boot with wifi card installed
I have a HP A1100y that will freeze at start up with Netgear pci wi-fi card installed. I can take it out and it boots up fine and for 1st time after I put it in. But then when I shut down, it will freeze again at start up. Have been able to get it to go by repeatedly pushing "enter", but was told that is not good to do. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

is the card still under warranty, may be faulty
Can you try the card in a different PCI slot

I have tried the card in all three slots, it does the same thing. If the card was bad, would it still connect to the internet. I have used it for the past year or more, but to get the PC to boot up I would have to repeatedly press the enter button until it gets past the intro screen.
