BUILDING new computer MM designer...HELP!
Hello,

I was hoping someone here could help me out with getting a new rig.
I want this thing to fly through flash, photoshop, and after effects. Streaming music and video would come next. I also want to have space for a TON of projects(500gb+)
I have been looking at complete desktops (built by others) with specs of:

$350 HP M8532F with 22" +full pkg(kybrd,mse,spkrs)
Processor: Intel Core2Quad Q6700 @ 2.66GHz
Operating System: Windows Vista Home Premium
Memory: 4GB DDR2
Hard Drive: 750GB
Optical Drive: Blu-Ray-HD DVD Combo
Video Card: nVidia Geforce 9500GS

OR

$400
Processor Type: AMD Phenom
Processor Speed (per Core): 3 GHz Quad Core
Memory (RAM): 2 GB
Hard Drive Capacity: 320 GB
8800GT Nvidia

OR should I just build from scratch- and where do I start? I have no idea what is compatible besides ram and the mobo. I mean, cpu, power supply, graphics card...no idea

ANY help is appreciated!
