Solved: iTunes Lost The Burner
iTunes is unable to find "disc burner and/or software", specifically Nero Optiarc DVDRW AD-7190A. I'm using a Vision computer, Atom 3020, and the operating system is Window XP Pro. Earlier today, iTunes went unresponsive after burning one track. Since this burning procedure has been successful heretofore I tried "RestoreIT!" and took the system back in time to October 21st 2009. Now iTunes seems to be hopelessly lost except for playback.
Since previous thread have expired or have been closed I must ask for help.
thanks

Smile iTunes Lost The Burner
Peck1234, thanks for your prompt reply. To be honest, I was apprehensive relative to what happens to the library and play lists after the uninstall. Was on the verge of jumping in regardless but remembered that yesterday iTunes sent a 70mb update and the program found the burner. With your degree of expertise, you could probably explain. I cannot because of hi tech illiteracy, sorry, it's my lot as an old geezer. The just burned CD is playing as I write. What remains obvious is that iTunes was the villain. Think I'll search for a better program. Again, thanks. Gene
