Change file attachment type

I have just installed You tube downloader but when I save the you tube clip to my computer, I comes out as an FLV file type. Can anyone tell me how to change the FLV to WMV. I have the full version of Nero and have upgraded to IE8{which incidently is as good if not better that Firefox}
