Problem with subtitles
When I try watching a movie with Greek subtitles I have to set the language as Greek in regional settings (language for non-unicode programs) otherwise I get gibberish characters. Now if I want to watch a movie with Czech subtitles I have to change the default language again otherwise I get gibberish again. Changing the language requires a restart which is really annoying. Is there any way to avoid this hassle of changing the languages again and again and be able to view the subtitles properly?

The subtitles are in *.srt format. I tried viewing the movies with 3 different players (kmp, gom & vlc) but always getting the same result. The applocale utility from microsoft seems to be of no use as it only supports changing the language for *.exe programs (tried running the player with my desired language with no result).
