Unhappy audio and video acting funny all over the place
Okay, I'm really not sure at all what is going on here so I'm just going to list all the symptoms and see if anyone can figure out what the heck is going on here. Oh and I am using a compaq computer with windows xp home edition.

-I first noticed stuff going wrong with youtube. I'll be watching a video and at a random interval (anywhere from 5 seconds to 2 minutes) I hear a click and the audio cuts out while the video keeps playing. I try pausing and playing, muting and unmuting etc and nothing happens. Sometimes if I just leave it paused long enough I hear a click again or a random noise and the sound is back. Very strange.

-And maybe related to this problem ,sometimes if I refresh the page the youtube video will just start playing in fast forward with no audio.

- I tunes has a similar problem. The audio will randomly decide to cut out. The main difference with the itunes problem is that the little bar that indicates where you are in the song doesnt even move as well. I've also noticed the problem happens more frequently if I'm using both youtube and itunes. The audio just comes back and plays normally whenever it wants to almost as if it was loading and needed time to start again.

- When I'm using players from other websites sometimes only 2 or 3 seconds from the video will play with no audio and then pause. Then if i move to a different part of the video the same thing happens, 2 seconds no audio and pause, while the video keeps loading.

-I've tried using windows media player and the problem is the same.

- The only temporary solution I've vound is that when i was watching a movie with VLC player I was able to disable to audio track and then re-enable it and it would start working again but i would have to repeat this procedure every time it happened.

- I recently downloaded a divx codec, and some flashplayer stuff so I don't know if that might have something to do with it.

Please please please help
thanks!
