Burned DVD viewing issues
So I recently burned most of my DVDs to my laptop. I moved them to an external drive to save space. I just went back and tried to watch one from the hard drive, with Windows Media Player, and I got an error stating:

Windows Media Player cannot play the DVD because the disc prohibits playback in your region of the world. You must obtain a disc that is intended for your geographic region.

So I moved the file back to the laptop and it plays fine. ???? What would be on the harddrive to make it think it was in another region? Any help/ideas would be appreciated....

By the way, all settings are set for US/region 1

Dump WMP and use VLC player; it's free and bypasses any problems of this nature.
