voice records with "tinny" quality
Hi,
I'm working on doing a voice recording with demo, I'm using a shared screen service and their call in number (Citrix). When I record and save, converted to a wmv file, then play back the sound quality it horrid. It is tinny and has a lot of background noise. To be fair to Citrix, I am using an aged (3 years) HP Pavailion with an AMD Processor, Vista 64-bit and a Conexant High Def SmartAudio 223 sound card. I have recorded the voice both on the dedicated line provided by the webex company as well as the internal mic on my system.
If this is a hardware issue, can you please let me know what requirements are needed in a system. I need to get this recording done ASAP.

Thanks in advance for the help.
