Solved: What can I use for .wgt files?
Hello everyone.

I have this game with some really cool music that I'd like to use in videos and stuff, but it's this weird file type I've never heard of before called a .WGT file. I can't open it in anything I've tried so far. When I google it it only comes up with "how can I lose weight?" adds. :P Anyway, is there a type of file converter I could use to change it to a wav or something? I'd appreciate the help.

IDK if it matters but I have a Windows XP.

Thanks in advance,
~Reier

You might try changing the file extension to .wav or .wma see if it will play.

Other than that it is some sort of proprietary format, no coveter that I can find.

can you upload a copy of one?, zip it up and use the go advanced button, then click the paper clip icon, attach it in your next post. It has to be less than 500K for zip format.

Is the game called "Worms Armageddon"? If so, it may be a team information file that may not have any music in it ...

- 8.4 Backing up team files
If you want to ensure that you don't lose all your team information, you will need to back up the 'wg.wgt' file. The related file may be located within the 'Worms Armageddon\User\Teams\' folder.
Please note, if your game is not patched, accessing this file will erase all it's contents (an initial inclusion to prevent copying it). If you have the US version, then this particular point is not relevant.
EDIT: There may be programs available that will search executable files and other file types for embedded audio or graphics and extract them into separate files. I used a shareware version of one a long time ago but don't know what is currently available.

Mumb:
Well the smallest file is about 10k kb so I can't upload it, but I'll try to get a rapidshare accout or something.

cww:
No, it's a game Called Bionicle Heroes. If you could find that coverter or searcher I'd really appreciate it.

I don't remember the name of the program since it has been many years since I used it.
