Cool Trouble watching video on line
Good evening.
Earlier today, a friend phoned with a delema... When they try to watch a video that is prerecorded on a web site, it will play for a few seconds then stop...At the same site when the video is being brodcast 'live' there is no problem I have gone to the site and have no problem with it, nor has her neighbor had any trouble with it.
I had her remove and reinstall the Adobe flash player and the Java and she says that hasn't helped.
This 'help' from me is being done by phone as I am in NE and she is in AZ. She is pretty computer savey.
Does anyone here have a suggestion as to what we can try to 'solve' this problem for her.
She is using a HP laptop (older) and has XP installed and is very meticulous about keeping her anti-virus (avast) and anti spyware/malware programs up to date and run weekly.
Thanks guys/gals for what ever you can help.

I hope someone can have time and knowledge to suggest a possible solution.
