connect burner
I want to use Windows Media Player to burn a CD
I get message "Connect burner and restart"
What should I do

First thing I would suggest would be restarting the PC and trying again. WMP may not see your burner.

But just do we have a better idea about what you're dealing with. What version of windows are you running and what kind of PC is it?

You can try to uninstall the driver for the optical drive and restart your computer, allow for Windows to detect your burner and install the driver then try to burn again.
