Unhappy Solved: trying to copy pictures to cd or dvd
I have a Dell computer with Windows XP pro SP 2 I have a cd drive (e) mat****a cdrw 7586 and a dvd ram drive (d)gsa 4040-b My problem is I cant copy pictures from my computer (my pictures}to either cd or dvd drive . Both drives will play audio cds and i can burn music to both but when i try to copy pictures the cd drive gives me an error not accessible when i try the dvd burner it keeps telling me to put in a disc even though i have a new one in the burner any help would be appreciated

Are the pictures in Jpeg format....

What is the process you are using......right clicking on the Jpeg and choosing sent to CD drive....can you burn other files?

recently i have been burning audio files to the dvd burner using the i tunes program and it worked just fine i have burned audio files to the cd burner in the past when i go to my pictures to burn a file i select the file and go to copy to i have also tried send to

Try a free CD burning program from the Web...just do a google search and see if that works

I assume you have burnt pictures before on that PC

Try CDBurnerXP, it's a good freeware CD/DVD burning program.

i installed cd burner xp and it burned the pics to a cd just fine thanks so much
