windows media players 10 and 11 vanishes when trying to play a song!

When I click on a song and click the arrow key to play it the player screen vanishes and doesn't play the song? Any help appreciated.

Hey Gary,

Check to see if Windows Media Player is running when you're experiencing the issue by right clicking Taskbar - Task Manager - Processes and see if WMPlayer.exe is already running hidden. If so end process on it. Then re-boot the program. Does it re-create the error?
