How can I determine if my New DVD Driver Burner or Old one are AHCI/ACHI enabled?

The point of linking a post I made on another forum which is not the same topic??

This one is for 'determining if...'
Other was 'How to make AHCI mode for a drive..'

Please someone tell me the reason?
