Question Problems Connecting Sony Handycam to PC
Hi - I am having trouble connecting my Sony Handycam DCR-TRV520 to my computer. Ideally, I would like to do this via a USB connection. I'm running Windows 7. When I connect the camera via USB the computer tells me that there is an error and it's not recognized. I tried connecting via firewire on a laptop (that is running XP) and, while I didn't get any error messages, it didn't recognize the camera. Any help that you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Question Thanks - Still Have Questions
Hi - Thank you for your reply. I have seen the page that you provided the link to. However, when I plug in the camera, my computer doesn't recognize it. That could be because, like the page said, USB streaming isn't supported in Windows 7. However, I can't figure out why the camera wasn't detected via firewire on a laptop running XP. Any other ideas? Thanks.
