Internet not showing up on network connection list for any computers
Our wireless internet spontaneously stopped working and wouldn't connect. After restarting the router it stopped showing up on the list of available networks all together. It's doing the same thing on my roommates computer. It still works when plugged in with an Ethernet cord and the lights are all on. It is a d-link router, model dir-601. I am running ubuntu and windows xp with service pack 3, the other laptop has windows 7.

That would indicate the wireless radio unit in the D-Link has been turned off or died.

Check the wireless settings to be sure the radio is turned on.
Also possible it could be a firmware glitch and updating or reinstalling the routers firmware might help.

Other than that, can only suggest a new router or AP to connect to your D-LInk.
