My mom has a Acer laptop and a Belkin n300 wireless router that she recently installed. Ever since she installed the belkin router she can only use the Internet for a short amount of time before she gets the blue screen. Other devices work fine on the wireless router (iPhone, iPod, iPad and Kindle Fire). Prior to the belkin she had another riuter and never got the blue screen. Any ideas of what might be causing this? I feel like its a simple setting either on the laptop and/or the router, but everything I have tried has not worked. She has a broadband modem for her Internet connection.

You don't need to install software to connect to a router. Uninstall whatever you installed.

All we did was use the belkin set up CD. When she goes to programs there is nothing that indicates a "program" installed for belkin.

Then I can't imagine one has anything to do with the other. What is the full blue screen error?
