NAS and Server 2008 This seems to be a common question on many forums but I have yet to find an adequate solution. In connecting my Seagate NAS 440 to my Server 2008 R2 and joining it to the domain, I am no longer able to access it through the browser by the IP address. If I run the NAS utility it finds no process on the other end of the pipe. If I attempt by NetBios Name it connects just find. The issue is I have some devices on my network (Scanners/Copiers) that don't communicate well with anything but the IP address. I have tried firmware upgrades, DNS Forward/Reverse Lookup, NS2 Authentication Level, reinstallations on both ends and nothing seems to work. Please help with any information. |
