Question Help: Cannot Enable DNS Client, Access is Denied
Hi, I'm trying to solve a disastrous networking (via workgroup nightmare) and I cannot enable the DNS Client on my Windows 7 PC. I go to cntrl panel, admin services, dns client, and try to change it to automatic and it says "access is denied"

Does anyone have any idea as to what could cause this?

Thank you.

What type of account are you using?

Is the service running? What are its logon credentials?

I always have mine disabled. Are you having connectivity problems, too?
