Oh wait, i missed a detail. I read in a magazine that a nasty piece of malware infected millions of computers, and that the FBI is going to block the infected computers from accesing the internet. Thank you for your reply terrynet.

That's a matter of poor reporting (or dumb reporters). The infection assigned bogus DNS servers. The FBI took over those servers (or at least the IP addresses) and maintained them as legit DNS servers for awhile, and they are going to stop doing that. So if your DNS stops working just change your TCP/IPv4 properties back to "obtain DNS auto" or assign a legitimate public DNS server. Hardly the sky is falling scenario that some stories and especially headlines are trumpeting.
