Hey, so first off, I'd like to say that I joined this forum so I could get my problem resolved.
Anyway.. My computer recently (May 2012) had an issue with the battery saying "Plugged in but not charging". So I shipped it to Dell (my computer model is Inspiron N5110) and they fixed it. I get the computer back (it was restored back to factory settings) and I've noticed that my internet is REALLY slow. BEFORE MY COMPUTER BROKE, my internet was very good. The problem only happened after I got it back. But, on my other 2 computers the internet is perfectly fine. Ranging from about 35-50mbps down with 4 up. So I check my speed on my computer and I get 0.3mbps down and it didn't even finish on the up speed. Also, the internet actually works fast for a few minutes and then goes away. So essentially, it works on and off. Plus, my modem is literally 2 feet away from me and sometimes I get 4/5 bars. It goes back and forth on 4 and 5 bars. BUT, on safe-mode the internet is completely fine. I get perfect speeds in safe-mode. So I decided that McAfee was the problem, I uninstalled it, but no, still had a problem. So I plug in my ethernet cord on NORMAL BOOT UP MODE and it's perfectly fine as well. So, I come to the conclusion that the internet on NORMAL BOOT UP is slow. I have no idea what to do, I tried to disable Bluetooth and it made my connection a lot better but it still slows down when I'm trying to play games online. And websites that have a lot of flash on it.

Open your device manager hit the start button then right click on computer then select properties then select device manager.

In device manager, click the View menu and select Show hidden devices

Then in the view drop down menu select devices by connection.

Right click on Teredo Tunneling Pseudo-Interface and select Disable.

Right click on 6to4 Adapter and then select Disable.

Next right click any Isatap Drivers that you see and select disable.

Repeat until all Isatap Drivers are disabled.

Go here and run the Microsoft fix it to set your hosts files back to default.
