Question Internet stops working, Can ping, Can't browse, Can't renew ip, dns problem.
Every time I start up my computer (Asus laptop, Windows 7) the internet works perfectly for quite a while (hours), But eventually my browser stops working, I can still ping various web site, use teamspeak, ect. But no browser works (104 error). Restarting fixes it, buy that's a temporary solution and a hassle

I've been reading threads for hours and I've found tons of similar stuff, but nothings worked so far. I tried some of the trouble shooting options, none of them worked but they did tell me my dns server wasn't responding

Every other laptop and phone on the network continues to work fine

Things I've tried:
Dns flush
Power management settings for the adapters in device manager
Setting opendns as preferred in Ipv4 properties
All the trouble shooting options
Ip release/ renew (didn't work, said media d/c'ed)
Rollback/ update network adapter drivers

And some other stuff that I'm forgetting (this has been happening for months)

Ip release/ renew (didn't work, said media d/c'ed)

Is this on the wireless or wired connection?

Also what web browsers are you using?

Wireless, I think wired works fine, but I can't remember cause it's been a while, and I can't check until it happens again. I've tried chrome, firefox, and explorer.

Is your laptop normally connected with an Ethernet cable? If so then the media state disconnected means you are not connected to the network and we are looking a wireless issue.

Then your issue is that the wireless is not connected to any network when the wireless shows Media State: Disconnected.

Copy the IPCONFIG/ALL results when it works and also when it does not work and paste it here.

To do that, do the command, then do a right click in Command Prompt > Select All > press Enter then paste here.
