wireless problems
I am having a similar issue, only my computer is a Dell Inspiron E1505 and it shows a connection with the little yellow triangle, then when I click on the icon in the bottom right it says "limited connectivity". It connects fine via the ethernet cable. When I try to connect wirelessly it says I have internet access, but then it says "limited connectivity". When I ask it to diagnose it says: "There might be a problem with the network adapter "wireless network connection". I tried to get a new IP address (like it suggested) but it couldn't finish that task.

chalsell, I'm assuming it was working at some point? Do you have other wireless devices that are working OK on the same router? Does your computer work elsewhere at a local hotspot? At this point it could be either the computer or the wireless portion of the router. A simple somewhat over used fix-all, but still worth trying, is hard reset of the router (power off, wait 10 seconds, power on).

Thanks for responding AA1TECH. Yes, other wireless devices are working fine on the router - and I did the hard reset. I also tried to reboot, get another IP address, some command in the "cmd run" screen, and I feel like all kinds of stuff - but of course can't remember right now.

I see from many posts on other forums, that the 1390 mini lan card likely is the issue. Lots of reports of trouble... from the various summaries I read, the best approach seems to be to replace the broadcomm drivers first, then the broadcomm utilities, lastly the 1390 drivers. Checking for success between each install... (or not...)

It's a place to start... here is a link to the Dell download site
